Certified Applicator Course
SoftWash Systems Certified Applicator is the first level of education required when you decide to join our network of providers. Brought to you from AC Lockyer himself, he will take you on a journey through 4 main categories that pertain specifically to the art of soft washing.
AC Lockyer will share with you his own experiences in the field as well as what he has picked up over the past years guiding others in the roof and exterior industry in 4 categories.
Our 20-class course is designed to equip you, the owner first and foremost with the knowledge and power to operate your business from the cleaning perspective. It also comes with a Lead Technician and Assistant Technician courses that you can use to train the team members you choose to bring on board.
Our goal at SoftWash Systems is to set you up for success. Part of that success comes with SoftWash Systems Academy Online. When you purchase our Certified Applicator Course it will come with online access to the material and supporting documents that accompany the course. Once you complete the necessary steps to become a Certified Applicator, your account on Academy Online will be upgraded to “Manager” status, and you will then be able to invite team members and assign them to the course that best fits their path.
Your Certified Applicator certification will last you 2 years from the date you pass your test. The Lead and Assistant Technician will last 1 year from the date the test is passed. SoftWash Systems Academy Online will automatically generate the 3 certificates available, allowing you to print your records at any time.

This class dives into the science that will equip and educate you on why soft washing is the solution to roof and exterior cleaning needs. This class is a part of our Assistant Technician course.
Anatomy of a SoftWash Spraying System
This class discusses the parts and components that make up a soft wash spraying system. All the various modules will be covered to help you best decide what you need on your very own system. This class is a part of our Lead Technician course.
Sustainability of Bleach
This class is all about bleach. One of the main ingredients necessary to obtain a clean surface. In one of his favorite classes, AC will discuss why bleach is the answer. He will also debunk some of the negative thoughts that people have about bleach, and teach you how to talk about bleach with confidence backed by research and knowledge.
Introduction to SoftWash Systems Chemicals
In this class, you will learn about the chemicals that SoftWash Systems has designed. You will learn what each product does, the surfaces that it works best on, and which ones can be combined to tackle multiple surfaces. This class is a part of our Assistant Technician course.
Now that you have learned about the different chemicals that SoftWash Systems carries, you need to know how to mix them. This class is an in-depth class that shows you how to set your dials on your blend module to achieve the mix you need for the surface you are cleaning. This class is a part of our Lead Technician course.
This class will help Assistant Technicians understand what their day to day duties and responsibilities are in the field and at the office and explain the importance of their role in the business.

This class is the sister class to Plant Protection. Property damage can eat into your profits but is preventable. This class will cover how to protect your client’s property and prevent any damages that could occur. This class is a part of the Assistant Technician Course.
License and Insurance

Personal Protective Equipment Safety
This class covers the PPE material and items that allow yourself and your team members to conduct their job in a safe manner. This class is a part of the Assistant Technician course.
This class dives into more detail of one of the most important pieces of PPE that you and your team members rely on. You will learn about the different types of respirators. what they each do and how to use them properly. This class is a part of the Lead Technician course.
This class covers one very important tool you will have in your soft washing business. Ladders; the different kinds of ladders, how to safely transport, load and unload, as well as the importance of using ladders properly on a job site. This class is a part of the Assistant Technician course.
Roof Top Safety
A large majority of your cleanings will be done from the ground or ladder. This class will guide you on the safety procedures you need to know for when you have to perform a cleaning from the roof.
Road Rules Safety
This class covers DOT road rules and driving safely. You share the road with potential customers, it’s important to ensure you are following state requirements along with being a courteous driver. This class is a part of the Lead Technician course.
This class discusses in depth how to soft wash two of the most common roofing materials you will encounter. Shingle roofs and tile roofs. You will learn spraying techniques, how to dissect the roof in sections, and clean it efficiently. This class is part of our Lead Technician and Assistant Technician courses.
Flatwork is often thought that the only way to clean it is with pressure. However, in most cases that is not accurate. This class covers the why, how, and how-to on cleaning flatwork using soft washing methods. This class is a part of the Lead Technician course.
Wood can be a delicate surface, this class will teach you how to clean it, what ratios to use and the proper techniques to treat wood in the various structures it comes in. This class is a part of our Lead Technician course.

The Certified Applicator educational course is designed to teach beginners and professionals how to soft wash profitably.
